Position Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Rep to join our team at our Santa Ana location. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, following up with potential leads, fostering client relationships, and growing sales.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Contacting existing and prospective customers
Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers
Identifying and contacting potential customers
Cold calling
Recommending products to customers based on business needs, interests, and type
Creating and sending price quotes
Answering questions regarding pricing, product information, product availability, etc.
Traveling to meet with new and existing clients and vendors out of state
Skills:
Outstanding customer service
Maximizing time management
Ability to meet sales goals
Presenting remotely and in person
Sales and negotiating
Product knowledge
Fostering client relationships
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written skills
Great communication skills
1-3 years industry experience is required
Preferred but not required:
Culinary or meat industry background
Knowledge of CRM systems
Chef experience
Cooking experience
Compensation:
1st year: $60,000 base. No commission.
2nd year plus: $40,000 base + commission (4% of gross profit).
