You will have the ability to supervise meter shop operations to support metering operational needs while effectively overseeing both union and professional employees.

Essential Functions

Supervises and gives direction to the department in accordance with company and organizational goals, policies, and procedures.

Provides oversight of gas metering testing programs for Indiana, Ohio, and Minnesota in accordance with both regulatory and internal policies.

Able to work across the enterprise and with several departments to forecast metering needs while executing on the capital and O&M budget.

Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures.

Maintains effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, manufacturers, and vendors.

Regularly communicates with direct manager on metering department activities while proactively communicating issues as they arise.

Lead and contribute to a strong safety culture for meter shop operations.

Effectively manage performance, while praising or issuing corrective action according to contracts, company policies, and best practices.

Education Description

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. Will consider relevant job-related experience.

Experience

Requires at least 5 years of prior work experience. May include gas measurement or operations experience.
