We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions and best results for the company.Partner with the bestAs a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in sourcing through multiple high profile initiatives. You will apply your experience on business analytics and market trends to achieve cost driven margins. This role will also support the development of category, sourcing and order fulfilment strategies to drive company goals related but not limited to cost, lead-time, and inventory for short, medium, and long term product line and company alignment.Responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilitiesLead major category negotiations and apply sourcing best practices demonstrating an understanding of broader concepts, approaches, and methodsCollaborate across product lines and functions to execute company objectivesLead initiatives to drive on landing cost including but not limited to logistics, tolling network and intercompany sourcing solutions.Drive supply decisions in accordance with company procedures and policies at best cost.Drive visibility of system driven KPIs including sourcing intensity, OTD and Supplier Performance.Engage in the adoption of AI enabled digital tools.Lead Product Management Qualification initiatives through digital applicationWorking closely with Global Sourcing Leader on strategic system application of sourcing category strategy in relation to supplier negotiations, supplier selection, supplier approval, supplier onboarding, etc.Handling special projects as assignedRequired QualificationsHave a bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Engineering or Science preferred) from an accredited university or college.Having 5 years of proven experience working in

Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, Project Management , or 8+ years of

chemical experienceDesired CharacteristicsHave good working IT knowledge and be familiar with variety of software tools including Excel, Power Point and any MRP, SAP, Ariba systems.Have good oral and written communication skills.Willingness to work overtime as needed to support the team.Have good interpersonal, leadership, negotiating and problem-solving skills.Have ability to influence others and lead small teams.Have ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Proven analytical and organizational ability.Be able to travel up to 30% of the time if needed.Have excellent organizational and time management skillsWorking in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.Work schedule : Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pmWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
