The Background:The Senior Global Mobility / Tax Consultant will be responsible for coordinating the expatriate process across the EMEA region whilst ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout.
The Role:You will be responsible for:
Coordinating the full assignment process for all internal expatriates across the EMEA region;Ensuring compliance with international tax, social security and immigration for all assignments;Counselling and supporting assignees and their families, assisting with any questions or queries;Preparing any assignment related documents, such as cost projections, tax calculations and contracts;Arranging international work permits with the assistance of third party providers;Supporting the HR team in host countries with any assignment related processes, such as payroll and compensation;Liaising with third party suppliers with regards to household goods shipment and relocation;Assisting the Manager with the development and implementation of any related global mobility or tax policies and processes.
The Person:The successful candidate will have:A strong background in operational global mobility issues;A good understanding of international taxation, social security regulations and immigration laws;Experience in both in-house global mobility and tax consulting environments is highly desirable, however, either background will be considered.
