Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: Starting pay rate of $22.00, actual wage will be adjusted based on experience.

Benefits: Full-time, seasonal position eligible for a season pass for employee/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily operations.

Train employees, plan and conduct staff meetings.

Confer regularly with staff to coordinate activities, assign and check work, resolve problems, and the like.

Plan work schedules.

Supervise and assist as necessary with all operations, which may include: line set up and restocking, cooking and other food preparation, customer service, cleaning and organization of cooking, service, and dining areas, dishwashing, and the like.

Order, receive, and maintain an appropriate inventory of food and supplies, which may include coordinating the transportation of goods to sites.

Prepare a variety of administrative/operations reports and records, such as timesheets, daily staffing reports, inventories, cash reports, and the like.

Monitor food and service to ensure that appropriate quality standards are maintained.

Confer regularly with immediate supervisor and other company personnel to plan, coordinate and evaluate services/activities, exchange information, resolve problems, and the like.

Attend staff meetings.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Basic education (high school), with formal training in hotel/restaurant management desirable, plus one to three years of relevant food service experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.

Some previous experience with basic food service administrative functions, such as ordering, inventory control, staff scheduling, cash reports.

Some previous supervisory experience desirable.

Experience working with a variety of commercial food service equipment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to deal effectively with customers and other company personnel.

Basic knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.

Good basic administrative, math and supervisory skills.
