As a Early Childcare Assistant Director at Guiding Hands Christian Academy, you’ll ensure the Texas minimum standards, Texas Rising Star, and Guiding Hands Policies and Procedures are in compliance. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child by coaching and assisting the teachers.Responsibilities
Assist teacher with lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levelsDocument observations and coaching of teachersMaintain positive informal and formal communication with families and teachers on a daily basisMaintain a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for children and teachersFacilitate and maintain childcare licensing standardsBe friendly and have a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environmentQualifications
Two years of previous experience in a licensed early childcare centerStrong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parentsEnergetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personalityShows initiative; strong work ethicDirector's Credentials
