Join us!Purpose of Job :The Transaction Services Analyst, reporting to the Corporate Development Manager, will be responsible for executing the M&A strategy set forth by the Supply & Operations team. This role requires experience in M&A and financial modeling, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to contribute to the process of making sound business decisions.Responsibilities:Perform diligence and execute both buy side and sell side transactions in accordance with the organization's M&A strategy.Partner in analyzing the population of potential targets and portfolio of current holdings.Conduct due diligence and use this information to develop integrated & complex financial analyses, valuations, and assist with the creation of reports and presentations regarding the impact of a transaction on the corporation.Assist in structuring and negotiating deals, executing transactions, and establishing performance timelines.Manage internal leaders and external partners throughout the divest process ensuring that contracting is completed accurately.Evaluate risks and opportunities.Pro-actively identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvement.Summarize findings in concise and meaningful ways, including use of data visualization tools.Qualifications:Bachelor of Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other technical discipline. MBA preferred.2+ years of professional finance experience.Experienced professional, preferably with 2+ years of experience in a corporate M&A role or finance environment, investment banking, public accounting or another financial/investment institution.Required experience in due diligence activities and analysis.Experienced in valuation analytics and valuation metrics.Strong Excel experience especially in complex financial modeling, and utilization of other MS products (Word, PPT, and Outlook).Experience with Tableau and working with large sets of data.Strong communication and presentation skills.An analytical approach to work.Problem-solving skills and initiative.Negotiation skills and the ability to influence peers.Distribution and supply chain experience preferred.Strong attention to detail.Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work in team environment and develop direct reports.Travel up to 25%.Note: We do not accept resumes from headhunters, placement agencies, or other suppliers that have not signed a formal agreement with us.Interstate Batteries provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
