Business Development Manager - Warehousing Automation and Logistics SystemsFully Remote home-based role for a Northamptonshire based company. Highly Competitive Salary + Bens + Commission.Applause IT are collaborating with a well-established specialist vendor for automated materials handling and software solutions for warehousing operations, including storage and retrieval, order forwarding, picking, and sortation systems. They pride themselves on being at the forefront of their market, having the largest UK Service Support team in the warehouse automation industry, and prioritizing data protection and transparency in handling personal information.The Role:This is a full-time remote role as a Business Development Manager focused on new business development.The role involves identifying target accounts, building relationships with key decision makers, gaining profitable new contracts, assessing and qualifying sales inquiries, leading presentations, and supervising the production of proposal documents and cost information.Using contacts to obtain critical market intelligence about competitors, customers, and suppliers is essential.Representing the company at exhibitions and conferences is also a key responsibility.Must hold a UK Driving licence and have access to a vehicle as you may occasionally be expected to attend a customer site (expenses will be paid for travel).Required:Business Development and sales background and experience in the SaaS and Logistics ArenaStrong negotiation and communication skillsIntegrator background and WMS / Automation Experience would be an advantageStrategic planning and market research abilitiesProven record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsAbility to work effectively in a team and independentlyStrong communicator and relationship builderWhat's in it for you?Main Benefits - Company pension scheme 5%, close for Christmas (must keep 3 days back), 25 days plus bank holidays (can purchase an extra 3 days once passed 6-month probation), flexible working, sick pay after probation, above and beyond awards.Please get in touch to find out more.
