The Director of Finance and Administration is responsible for the company's finance and administration functions and other activities as described below. The Director of Finance and Administration will report to the CEO.Maintain appropriate financial controls and policies and proceduresMaintain the finance and administrative functionsManage project cash and cash use including issuing payments, invoicing, managing drawdowns of shareholder cash to fund construction costs, etc.Review and optimize short, medium- and long-term capital needs and related financing arrangementsPrepare all financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets and reports to shareholders and lenders, as applicablePrepare and present budgets and reports for the Board and analyze discrepancies between actual and projected figures and suggest methods of improving as appropriate

Manage yearly financial audit activitiesUpdate and maintain the financial modelWork in close cooperation with the company's CEO to meet all requirements of the project documentsAdvise CEO/Board on any financial issues or potential risks that might affect the ProjectManage financial, tax advisors, auditors and other consultantsFollow risk management activities including insurance program and renewals in accordance with project documentationAdvise CEO/Board toward achieving business plan targets per the financial model and annual budgetsStay abreast of any new or proposed USGAAP accounting standards and their impact to the projectStay abreast of any new or proposed legislation and its financial impact on the projectEstablish record repository and ensure complying with record retention standards outlined within the Project DocumentsSignificant contributor to stakeholder and community relations activitiesRequirement:5-7 years of experience in project finance or construction accountingDegree in Accounting or Business ManagementPreferred:CMA/CPA/CA designation preferredExperience in infrastructure/PPP projects and/or fiber optics environment is highly valuableQualifications:Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectivelyProven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of financial management requiredAbility to interact with colleagues in a small, self-managed team structureMust be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment within a small teamStrong Excel skills and understanding of complex financial models and analysis
