Job Description And DutiesThe Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking a dedicated and talented individual for a permanent Research Data Analyst I (RDA I) position in the Workers’ Compensation (WC) Program. Under direct supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the RDA I will perform basic research and essential entry-level functions of a data analyst. Directions and assignments may also come from the Human Resources Chief, Administrative Services Deputy Director, or other department executive staff. The RDA I will work as a team member to gather, validate, and provide statistics and analyses on various data research and studies in response to WC cost reduction, claims tracking, and other departmental needs. The RDA I is also responsible for providing consultative services to DSH management and stakeholders.Special Requirements***While US mail applications are still accepted, applying electronically through your CalCareers account is strongly encouraged.***
