One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes oversight of trust and restricted property; protecting the highest degree of all aspects of contracting, leasing, and compliance of trust resources, conveyance, and maintaining the overall effectiveness of the trust services; performing on-site inspections for compliance; recommending corrective action or changes needed; analyzing transactions including applications, land descriptions, appraisals, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Title Status Report (TSR), and other clearances to ensure compliance; consulting with beneficiaries, lessees, land owners, and other interested parties about the contracting process, options, and other needs and documentation.orPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degreeor3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degreeorLL.M., if relatedGS-12:

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes oversight and management of acquisition and disposal, trust and restricted property; management of Indian trust assets, performing on-site inspections for compliance; recommending corrective action or modifications needed; analyzing transactions including applications, land descriptions, appraisals, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Title Status Report (TSR), and other clearances to ensure compliance; consulting with beneficiaries, lessees, land owners, and other interested parties on the process associated with conveyance activities; providing guidance and technical assistance to lower grade realty personnel in the areas of real estate services and completion of work; understanding real estate to interpret and apply federal, state, tribal, and local regulations and laws that govern trust assets, applying law and regulations in management of trust assets.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the position to be filled.The full performance level of this position is GS-12.
