ManTech’s Federal Civilian sector is seeking an experienced, VA-focused growth practitioner who understands the full capture lifecycle with demonstrated success in the VA and related Health IT markets. This position will report to the Sr. Executive Director, Federal Civilian Growth Operations & Sector Pursuits and work closely with our Health and VA-focused portfolio to develop winning strategies driving strategic business growth. Specifically: develop comprehensive, compelling, and differentiated technology solutions and services; support qualification of new business opportunities; develop creative and innovative capture strategies; develop winning proposals.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate closely with and support the Health and VA-focused portfolio and Sector growth teams to leverage team strengths and expose opportunities for business expansion.Research and understand market trends and translate customer and competitive intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions.Contribute to, review and evaluate proposal documents and participate in color reviews in preparation for proposal submission.Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of ManTech’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives. Use this knowledge to design and execute creative and differentiated growth strategies and customer engagements as well as influence future capability development efforts.Foster a culture of client-first engagement and relationship building, focused on mission outcomes, robust engagement, and unwavering commitment to excellence.Work with others to meet and exceed business and financial goals aligned to ManTech’s annual operating plan and long-range strategy.Establish and maintain business relationships and strong networks with other industry partners to facilitate teaming while building on your existing relationships to pursue Federal Civilian contracts in a highly competitive market.Possess highly effective communication and presentation skills.Develop proposal executive summaries and contribute copy for VA-specific requests for information, market surveys and/or white papers.Enter sales data into company growth CRM tool.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Business Development, Capture, and/or Proposal ManagementEquivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, particularly with military and/or other government service.2 years of experience in the Federal Health market (e.g., VA-focused sales, business development, capture, proposal management)5 years of experience supporting/driving the BD life-cycle from Opportunity Identification through Closing.Prior experience with the Shipley Business Acquisition Process.Preferred Qualifications:

Shipley Certification(s)Deft at managing multiple efforts in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional team-oriented environment.Ability to work well remotely via teleworking as well as travel to ManTech DC-VA-MD Area offices, customer locations, and industry conferences as needed.Public relations or marketing experience.Capable using electronic productivity software and tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace and applications suite, SharePoint, Zoom, Slack, and Salesforce.Adaptable to changing priorities and company initiatives such as process improvement and new software implementation and upgrades.Proactive and autonomous, requires minimal supervision.Clearance Requirements:

Frequently communicates with co-workers, peers, management, and clients which may involve delivering presentations in-person and/or remotely. Must be able to access, exchange, communicate, and converse accurate information in these situations.Constantly operates a computer (including electronic productivity software and tools), mobile phone and other IT peripherals.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300-$155,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
