Job Description:As an IT Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering value to the customers and stakeholders of your product. You will work closely with the Product Manager, other Product Owners, and Agile teams to align the team backlog with the product vision, roadmap, and customer needs. You will also collaborate with the business and technical leaders to ensure that the product meets the quality, compliance, and security standards of the organization.Your main responsibilities will include:Representing the voice of the customer and the business within your product domainApplying customer-centric and design thinking tools to identify and validate customer problems and solutionsWorking with the Product team to establish and maintain the team backlogBreaking down features into clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done for each sprintPrioritizing and refining the team backlog to ensure that the product features are delivered on time and provide the expected valueParticipating in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective ceremoniesReviewing and accepting the work done by the Agile teamProviding feedback and guidance to the Agile teams to ensure that they deliver high-quality products that meet customer expectationsCommunicating effectively with various stakeholders, including Product Management, System Architects, Business Owners, and other Product OwnersTo be successful in this role, you should have:A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or a similar role in an IT environmentProduct Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification or equivalentA solid understanding of Agile principles and practicesA strong customer focus and a passion for delivering valueExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a remote and distributed environment with multiple teamsExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
