Qualifications:
Hold a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).
Reports to:
Athletic Director
Function:
To assist in the administration of the athletic program under the direction of the Athletic Director.
Duties:
Advise in the recruiting, selection, and assignment of coaches in the athletic program.
Assume general responsibility for the proper supervision of home athletic contests.
Provide the Athletic Director with input concerning coaching staff at the end of the athletic season.
Verify the physical examinations of all athletes prior to the beginning of each season.
Verify the academic eligibility of all athletes.
Assist in the preparation and administration of the athletics budget.
Prepare requisitions in cooperation with appropriate staff for supplies, uniforms, and athletic equipment.
Arrange all details pertaining to visiting teams' needs.
Maintain a record/file of all award and scholarship winners, including the date and type of award/scholarship.
Carry out other assignments as assigned.
Terms of Employment:
Salary as provided by the negotiated Agreement.
