Curtiss-Wright is looking for a Project Manager at our PacStar facility in Portland, OR.As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the performance of multiple small to mid-sized projects or a definable portion of a larger program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Projects include Customer funded Research & Development (CRAD) and Internally funded Research and Development (IRAD) projects. This role is primarily responsible for project management within the Systems Engineering organization and oversees project performance on our Integrated Solutions product areas.Location:

Evaluate project requirements and define project plan to execute to scope within schedule and budget.Contribute to the creation of overarching project plans to ensure multiple project schedule and budget goals are attained.Resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.Coordinate activities across multi-disciplinary teams both on-site and at remote locations.Responsible for project management tasks (schedule, budget, scope management); may contribute to the development of standards and processes for scheduling, administration, and accounting.Primary interface to customers (internal and external).Gather information from project team, prepare project status briefs, and present to management and customers on regular schedules, including schedule and budget performance, establishing program baselines, and Estimates at Completion.Identify and actively manage project risk items.Collaborate with management team to develop, implement, and improve organizational processes in compliance with company policies and procedures.What You Bring

8+ years of progressively complex experience in project management or project leadership; a minimum of 4 years of project management experience.Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline, or equivalent experience.Aerospace and Defense, Automotive, or medical project background a plus.Six Sigma or PMP Preferred.Must understand project management process and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Project, and Visio highly preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Agile / Lean project management experience.Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.Who We Are
