Subcontracts Manager

to be a part of the rapidly growing Saab, Inc. Supply Chain team. This is a high level, individual contributor role. As an SCM, you will be responsible for executing and managing high dollar and complex procurements with critical subcontractors, in addition to negotiating contract agreements. Experience in navigating and flowing FAR/DFARS contract requirements is required.Responsibilities Include:Reviewing, interpreting, and flowing mandatory requirements which will ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk.Assisting the Saab, Inc. engineering team in the creation of Statements of Work (SOW).Issuing RFIs & RFQs to subcontractors. Manage and ensure the receipt of complete information.Conducting flow down analysis to ensure compliance to customer requirements (FAR/DFARS, FAA, International requirements).Negotiating and managing supplier price, cost, schedule, and technical performance.Executing Subcontracts, Inter-divisional Work Transfer (IDCT) Agreements, NDAs, Leasing agreements, and Long-Term Agreements.Writing contracts letters and maintaining comprehensive legal records in compliance with USG Certified Purchasing System Requirements.Supporting proposal costing efforts on material and labor.Facilitating rhythm meetings and problem resolution.Coordinating work with Saab, Inc. programs located at different Saab, Inc. business areas across multiple sites. This work may also require coordinating work with Saab Affiliates outside of the US.Managing critical suppliers/subcontractors which will include participating in Quarterly Business Reviews.Contributing to Supply Chain metrics, reporting, continuous improvement, and other strategic initiatives.Compensation Range:

$94,800- $120,900The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.Skills and Experience:USG, DoD, or FAA contracts experienceExperience navigating and flowing FAR/DFARS contract requirementsBA/BS degree with 10-12 years of experience

or

MBA/MS/JD degree with 8+ years of experienceProfessional certification or advanced degree preferred (CCM, CFCM, CPCM)Advanced Purchasing experience- comprehensive understanding of fundamentals, building orders in an ERP systemExperience with contracting methods and typesAnalytical thinking and problem solving- ability to apply sound judgement and creativityCommunication / Interpersonal RelationshipsFinancial Acumen- ability to determine cost reasonablenessDesired Skills:Cross-functional experience in Quality, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Program Management.Continuous improvement (Black Belt, Green Belt)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsLeadership and presentations skillsCitizenship Requirements:
