Director of OperationsJob Summary:Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong focus on scheduling and ERP integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain scheduling process, leading the implementation of a new scheduling software module into our existing ERP system, and ensuring seamless integration with our overall supply chain operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, strong knowledge of ERP systems, and a proven track record in supply chain optimization.Key Responsibilities:Scheduling Management:Develop, implement, and manage the master scheduling process to ensure optimal production planning and inventory control.Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align schedules with demand forecasts and supply chain capacity.Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or production issues.ERP Integration:Lead the implementation of new scheduling software within the existing ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with other modules (e.g., inventory, procurement, production).Collaborate with IT, operations, and supply chain teams to design, test, and deploy the new scheduling module.Train staff on the new system, providing ongoing support to ensure effective use and adoption across the organization.Process Optimization:Analyze current scheduling processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and efficiency gains.Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline scheduling, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain performance.Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the scheduling process and ERP integration.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain.Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling-related issues, facilitating communication and resolution of conflicts.Reporting & Analysis:Generate reports and provide insights on scheduling performance, inventory levels, and production efficiency.Use data analysis to identify trends, forecast future needs, and support decision-making.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on scheduling and ERP systems.Proven experience in implementing scheduling software or modules into ERP systems.Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and scheduling tools.Excellent project management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.APICS/CSCP certification is a plus.
