Technical Goods and Services categories may include, but are not limited to Capital Equipment, Construction Management, Warehouse Management, Contractor and Professional Technical Services, Environmental Consulting & Remediation, and MRO sourcing. Responsibilities include:Create and execute the Regional Procurement Strategy for the assigned categories.Collaborate with global and other regional procurement category managers.Lead strategy creation, approach to market, contract creation, negotiation and implementation.Assess business requirements, qualify service providers, conduct competitive tenders, evaluate offers, award and negotiate contracts.Challenge existing business concepts and sole/single source situations.Drive continuous improvement efforts for AMR strategies and contracting activities.Lead the change management process.Coordinate internal needs with external market and suppliers.Enable and champion the compliance mindset.Minimize overall risks through conformance with Procurement Policy.Segment supplier base and review suppliers’ KPI performance.Coordinate all activity with legal and Global/Regional Procurement teams.How You Can Be the ImpactAbility to create, develop, define, challenge and execute procurement strategies.Effective communication skills across all business levels.Independently & proactively create plans and deliver results.Excellent negotiation skills.Create should cost models and utilize market intelligence.Lead educational awareness & compliance sessions.Excellent interpersonal skills.High level of quantitative, analytical and conceptual skills.Ability to build, lead and coach teams.Fluent in English; Spanish and Portuguese a plus.Knowledge of SABIC products/services; specific content experience within any SBU a plus.Skilled in ERP system usage, specifically SAP.What Matters to SABICBA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Industrial Management or Economics.Industry experience in Procurement with 5+ years’ experience in procurement related roles.Physical Requirements:
