RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify learning & development requirements and prepare development plans for the employees.Ensure quality education and coordinate vocational trainings.Partner with a specific business or businesses to develop and deliver the HR Strategy aligned with the business strategy and Corporate policies and procedures.Provide advice as to the best HR management practices to support business objectives.Ensure key HR business processes are implemented effectively (e.g. performance management, annual pay/bonus reviews, learning and development, talent planning, succession planning).Facilitate the management team to bring best solutions for employees.Identify trends/issues that require resolution and involve appropriate resources.Build a valuable relationship with internal clients and transfer requests to/from the business unit.Provide employee relations counsel to managers and employees on HR matters including performance, discipline, organizational decisions and career development.Provide interpretation and guidance on human resources policies and employment law.Support HR colleagues and managers to understand and comply with relevant legislation and employee relation policies and practices.Participate in implementation and development of HR Instruments and Systems.Use relevant data and systems to recommend policy and process solutions to align with HR strategy and plans.Create evaluations and reporting.Participate in the talent acquisition process, ensure the quality of personnel hired, the effectiveness of recruiting and compliance with law requirements.Review resumes, perform telephone interviews, administer in-person interviews and conduct reference & background checks.Recommend placement of internal and external candidates.QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree preferably in the area of Human Resources or Business.Minimum 10 years of working experience in the field of Human Resources Management in a manufacturing environment in areas such as personnel administration, payroll, recruitment and selection, training, staff services, union relations, etc.Labor law knowledge and good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff.Excellent project management and change management skills, ability to maintain confidential information, ability to work independently and be resourceful.Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
