We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering and Operational Excellence Manager, who will foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing.

Dundalk , Ireland. You will report to the Operations Director.Main tasks and responsibilities

Oversee the development and management of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to support productivity improvements and growth objectivesContinuously work on engineering solutions to reduce risk in the production processesEnsuring quality standards within the manufacturing engineering departmentManagement of ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation and trackingDevelop, implement and track department budgets and head-count requirements on a monthly cycleManage the Manufacturing Engineering team, performance management and developmentPromote & develop a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the value streamEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standardsOwnership and development of sustainability roadmap to reduce CO2 emissions in alignment with Hiab targets.What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or science7 to 10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing engineering environment5 years’ experience in a management roleTechnical knowledge of volume manufacturing engineering practicesWorking knowledge Lean Six sigma problem solving techniquesIn depth knowledge and experience of DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP and Lean Manufacturing techniquesCritical thinking and decision makingFlexibility in travel, work hours, tasks and responsibilities ensuring adaptation to production cyclesFluency in English both written and verbal.You will be part of
