Senior Human Resources Business Partner

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The Senior HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its culture, and its competition. Delivers a wide range of Human Resources services for managers and staff in assigned departments to optimize a productive, positive, employee relations climate which is in support of the Hospital’s strategic plan.
Sources talent for the business units utilizing best practices and creativity to hire highly skilled candidates that are a good fit for the organization. Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units. Consults with line management providing HR guidance. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Reports to:
Director, Talent Acquisition and Staff Engagement
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, business or related field is required. A minimum of 8 years’ experience in Human Resources including significant employment and employee relations experience is required. Able to work independently, take initiative, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Microsoft Office expertise is also a must.
Success Factors
HR experience in healthcare is highly desired. Specific coursework in Human Resources is desirable. Strong organizational and communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills along with a commitment to customer service, collaborative teamwork, and quality are also required. Experience with Microsoft Office is required.
