Summary:

The Scaled Ops (SO) team serves as the centralized vendor management capability for all of GO. The Strategic Initiatives team, within SO, serves as a horizontal team providing program and project management support, impact evaluation, strategic planning, and an increased focus on continuous improvement across SO. The Strategic Initiatives team is searching for a Lean Process Improvement Specialist to drive process / continuous improvement across the lifecycle from Ideation to Execution, and thus enable sustained & measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluation of existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. This involves studying data, interviewing stakeholders, and observing business operations to understand the current state.Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and pain points within processes that hinder or have the potential to enhance productivity, quality, and/or customer satisfaction. This includes analyzing data, collecting feedback from stakeholders, and conducting root cause analyses.Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance efficiency. Collaborate with technology/engineering teams to evaluate and implement suitable technology solutions or process automation tools.Develop and recommend process design solutions that address identified issues and align with Client’s goals. This may involve creating process flowcharts, defining standard operating procedures (SOPs), and outlining best practices.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance and monitor improvements. Track and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of process enhancements and identify further areas for improvement.Work closely with cross-functional teams, business units, and stakeholders to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure lean process improvements align with their needs. Collaborate to develop consensus on process changes and facilitate their implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years’ experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or operational excellence.Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Total Quality Management (TQM), or other continuous improvement frameworks.Strong analytical skills to assess complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.Ability to think critically, conduct root cause analyses, and apply problem-solving techniques.Proficiency in process mapping techniques and tools, such as flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, or value stream maps.Experience/knowledge of project management methodologies including planning, coordinating resources, and managing timelines. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
