These individuals handle special accounts or a specific role and carry an account base or a quota. Typically handle less complex accounts. Develops new leads and researches new business potential within an assigned market. Makes direct calls to potential clients and manages internet-based lead websites. This position is responsible for booking short-term meetings for the hotel and is fast-paced. Communication and organization skills are of the utmost importance.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for growing new group and events revenues in all segments including but not limited to SMERF, Association, and Corporate. Small group bookings with and without events. Bookings will have a maximum of 40 room nights on peak. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.Refined verbal and written communication skills.Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.Prefer 1-2 years previous hotel experience.
