On our clients' behalf, we are immediately seeking an experienced Plant Manager to join the Management team at their San Jose manufacturing site (continuous manufacturing process). Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager, the Plant Manager will be charged with overseeing and ensuring the success of plant operations including all production, maintenance and quality departments.
Individuals who are team oriented, strong problem solvers, and who believe in a culture of "leading from the front" will excel in this environment.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the strategic planning for the business.
Direct and manage production of finished products, process improvements and materials usage.
Schedule monthly production to ensure the most efficient use of facilities as related to inventory requirements.
Determine production plans for manufacturing ensuring operational goals are met.
Manage plant operations, staff, facility and equipment.
Oversight of health and safety program and requirements for the facility.
Monitor and ensure quality control is maintained and issues addressed including customer relations, product specifications and finished product quality.
Manage and review annual budget preparation and monthly financial and operations reporting. Other accounting and forecasting duties as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates must have a completed 4 year University degree and a minimum of 5 - 7+ years of professional experience in a Plant Management position to be considered.
