JOB SUMMARY:

The Shareholder Services Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive suite of educational programs designed to benefit Aleut Shareholders and Descendants. This role will involve creating and managing internship opportunities, scholarships, educational programs, and fostering a strong connection between Aleut heritage and modern education.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement innovative internship opportunities, scholarships, and educational programs tailored to the needs of Aleut Shareholders and descendants.

Collaborate with educational institutions, businesses, and community partners to establish meaningful partnerships and secure resources.

Design curriculum and learning objectives for each program, ensuring they align with Aleut cultural values and educational goals.

Manage all aspects of program operations, including recruitment, selection, orientation, and evaluation.

Provide mentorship and support to program participants, ensuring they have a positive and enriching experience.

Monitor program budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact.

Build strong relationships with Aleut communities and organizations to promote awareness of program offerings and foster participation.

Represent the organization at community events and conferences to share information and build partnerships.

Manage, coordinate, and assist in project development, administering and promoting shareholder development and training programs.

Foster relationships to develop employment opportunities.

Brainstorm creative ways to develop and enhance new shareholder programs.

Develop positive relationships with corporate and subsidiary personnel; maintain interaction with shareholders; and facilitate shareholder activities.

Collect data and conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and recommendations for future development.

Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including speech writing, proper grammar, spelling, editing, and proofreading.

Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Skill in establishing relationships to include working with corporate management, managers, co-workers, and outside contacts.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in preparing information.

Possess strong analytical skills to review, evaluate, and synthesize information.

High level of organizational skills, as well as time management and ability to work under pressure.

Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, and tact in dealing with sensitive information.

Problem-solving and demonstrating initiative to improve processes, procedures, etc.

Possess and demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity, respect, flexibility, and sound work ethics.

Proven experience in program development, management, and evaluation.

Strong understanding of Aleut culture, history, and traditions.

Excellent communication and people skills, including the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Five (5) years’ experience working and/or managing a program or related work.
