We exist to make a positive impact in people’s lives and are focused on delivering a best-in-class experience to our associates and our customers.Responsibilities:Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellenceWorks under the direction of the branch manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the branchPlays a critical role in the profitability of the branch and assists the branch manager with P&L managementSupervises the inside sales staff and the warehouse managerServes as the “go-to” leader for customer service opportunities and issuesSearches for ways to improve branch operations and salesMonitors all branch operations, including: warehouse processes, physical inventory, fleet, payroll, bank deposits, cycle counts, and daily reports using Lansing's "day's work in a day's time" philosophyWorks alongside the warehouse manager and associatesUses company's sophisticated inventory management network, which ties all Lansing branches togetherResponsible for branch staffingDoes what is necessary to get the job done while following our mission statementQualifications:

Experienced manager and supervisor with the ability to motivate subordinatesHigh integrity and energy while working in a fast-paced environmentExperienced manager with the ability to motivate subordinatesExperience with building products either as a salesperson or in senior warehouse rolesAbility to meet -- and reach -- personal goalsStrong interest in sales and/or retail as evidenced by previous jobs or by educationExcellent interpersonal skills -- the ability to work one-on-one with customers and the ability to resolve sensitive business-related issuesStrong computer knowledgeAll-around business professional with exceptional telephone etiquetteCompetitor with a hunger for success and the willingness to go the extra mileStrong communication and social skillsHeavy lifting -- up to 70 pounds -- may be required on occasionWRH123A Career with Lansing Building Products offers:
