Job Description

The Multi-Platform Coordinator will be responsible for the look and feel of our brands across multiple platforms, overseeing the editorial aspects, including structure, style, and formatting to create an optimal user experience.

Job Duties:

Work hand in hand with Non-Linear Content Specialist for U+ strategy, playlists, EPGs, and virtual channels

Maintain the creation and sunsetting of all playlists and screens for the Universal+ suite of apps (including but not limited to Web, iOS, Android, Samsung, LG, Roku, AndroidTV)

Ideate and implement strategies for playlists and pages, curating experiences which add value to end-user browsing and leverage existing roster of content to encourage “bingeability”

Create, edit, and update Banner images for multiple device specifications across Universal+ Applications

Coordinate with media ops, programming, and marketing teams in order to ensure content premieres in app according to rollout without any interruptions

Partner with data insights teams to build understanding of consumption and use data whenever possible to make screen/ playlist recommendations and changes, identify trends and top performers for each channel brand

Partner with marketing and design teams to ensure readiness of all assets, while following brand guidelines

Liaise with VP of Content and the product & design teams regarding UX, look and functionality of website, mobile web and app

Develop a deep understanding of CMS capabilities and limitations, partnering with Digital Product team to report bugs and make strategic platform recommendations

Performs QA/ QC of screens and playlists in order to flag inconsistencies and bugs, advocating for metadata and imagery optimizations wherever possible

Develop CMS best practices for Universal+ and create plan to optimize playlists and screens

Collaborate with the programming, marketing, and media ops and technology teams to ensure optimal and frictionless user experience

Conduct competitive research and become the industry best practice expert; track marketplace trends and educate the team on the latest, best and most innovative editorial experiences

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

2+ years’ experience Media, Entertainment or Advertising industries

Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint user

Possess high attention to detail

Editorial experience (structural/content editing, stylistic editing, formatting)

Adobe Suite (Photoshop required)

Bachelor’s degree in media communications or relevant field

Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English

Desired Characteristics:

Demonstrable passion and knowledge for content (Film/ TV)

Experience working in content management systems

Experience working with Latin America in order to understand the different practices, rules, regulations, and markets

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to work with tight deadlines & prioritize effectively

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines

Highly motivated team player with a good sense of initiative

This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
