The actual compensation offered to the selected individual will depend on their relevant education, training, or experience, among other bona fide factors.Expected Minimum Pay Rate:

USD $78,555.00/Yr.ResponsibilitiesLeads the interactive process to determine accommodations and/or Return to Work potential for team members with injuries, illness or disability while providing the best outcome for Raley's and the team member.Identifies potential assignments and accommodations that meet medical restrictions.Reviews job descriptions and third-party administrator (TPA) documentation to inform assignment accommodation solutions and interacts with leaders to coordinate and track accommodation requests, implementation, and results.Coordinates written responses relating to RTW status and ensures written communication is sent to all parties.Monitors and documents case status from incident/illness through reinstatement following established RTW processes and procedures.Works closely with Risk Management and the Workers Compensation provider to evaluate, mitigate, and resolve Worker's Compensation claims up to reinstatement.Administers process for refusals from either team members or leaders. Escalates to leader as needed.Maintains proactive and positive communication with impacted team members throughout the RTW process.Develops and administers Return to Work processes and procedures and communicates program services to team members, medical care providers, business partners and management.Ensures processes/procedures are consistently followed and requests for accommodation follow the centralized process.Provides centralized documentation and tracking and coordinates the gathering of documentation required for legal claims.Initiates and coordinates (annual or semiannual claim review meetings) to evaluate, mitigate and resolve open claims and develops proactive RTW solutions.Recommends innovative solutions for managing RTW and leave programs.Acts as knowledgeable resource to business partners and team members on leave of absence programs and applicable laws and regulations.Maintains knowledge of and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and changing workplace accommodation and leave laws.Creates, maintains and analyzes leave trends and program effectiveness.Designs and delivers training and education to leaders in basic leave and ADA compliance and laws.Coordinates integration of leave types and leave pay and benefits with Payroll and Benefits.Communicates pay and benefit implications.QualificationsRequired KnowledgeTechnical knowledge of employee leave of absence and ADA accommodations policies, practices and applicable laws.Knowledge of industry practices, federal, state and local laws and regulations related to leave of absence and the interactive process.Education & ExperienceA minimum of three or more (3+) years’ experience with managing leaves of absence and accommodations, and an Associates degree in Business or HR-related subjects, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with workers’ compensation benefits administration preferred.Skills & AbilitiesBuilds collaborative, professional working relationships at all levels within and outside of the company.Ability to apply broad knowledge of professional principles and practices in employee disability and leave practices.Strong ability to adapt procedures and processes to accomplish the requirements of the position.Strong ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.Ability to maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse work group.Demonstrated ability to operate various computer systems and software programs.Ability to be flexible in changing work priorities.Ability to act in a responsive manner to team member inquiries and requests; escalates the more difficult matters as necessary.Excellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to make persuasive presentations.Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.CertificationsDriver's licensePHR preferredPhysical Demands
