The Master Planning Manager leads the planning and execution of all operational activities according to established weekly Business Plans. This includes data mining through historical records as well as current business trends in order to align the Supply Chain accordingly. The Master Planning Manager will influence the Business planning activity by guiding the Sales and Berry Business Management teams as to where and when product will be available by shipping location to best support Customer Order Fill targets while also achieving operational targets. The Master Planning Manager will be a key interface between the Sales team, Supply Forecast team, Demand Management team, Product Business Management, Distribution team, Logistics team, Procurement team, Daily Order Fill team and Regional Harvest Planning teams. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Master Planning.The Master Planning Manager will:Develop new processes that will drive improvement of Customer Order Fill resultsServe as the week 0 Network Business alignment ownerDevelop critical process and tools to improve the daily network alignment activityLead the effort to reduce customer order touches and excessive fruit movementServe as the critical link between Sales, Supply Forecast and the Supply Chain to achieve network balanceMonitor fruit aging to assure we stay within established parametersDevelop a weekly operating plan for week 1 businessLeverage trends to anticipate short or excess supply scenarios that will cause service disruptionsSupply the Supply Chain team with KIs on critical points of measure e.g. Item forecast accuracy, Fruit Aging, Transfer spendConduct ad-hoc analysis under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Master PlanningResponsibilities

Provides Operational Plan for week 1 to 13 week alignment team weekly as well as ad-hoc basis.Leads weekly Supply Chain Forecast Meetings with Supply Chain ManagersProvides 13-week Item forecast to Procurement team by site and item/skuAligns Network daily by providing channel allocations by site (when/as needed)Creates Transfer daily/weekly transfer plans for Network AlignmentSupports Fruit Aging processSupports the Daily Order Fill team by providing direction on order and fruit movement activityWorks in a positive, collaborative way with other DepartmentsGenerate harvest plan strategy by aligning with Order Fill team for executionPlanning Forecasting project management and performing other duties as instructed by the Director of Sales and Operations ExecutionEnsures the security of Driscoll’s proprietary and confidential information and materialRepresents Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like manner in all interactions with Growers, Suppliers, Buyers and Customers in addition to adherence to Company policies and practicesCandidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree preferred emphasis on data analytics and or agribusiness5 years of experience minimum with fresh produce handling. Business management and leadership experience preferredBilingual (English / Spanish) preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish verbal and written capability preferredAbility to design and undertake projects leading to specific insights independently with minimal supervisionAbility to balance multiple work assignments, projects and daily operational activities is requiredMicrosoft Office Suite, Advanced Tableau or other Visual Business Intelligence experienceLean Six Sigma certification a plusCalifornia driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program are also requiredA valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions are also requiredRequire some domestic and possible international travel, approximately 5% of timeThe following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.
