Position: Product Manager, SafetyWe’re looking for a Product Manager, Safety to join our Product team at Snap Inc.

What you'll do:

Develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Safety reporting and investigation tooling at Snapchat.

Collaborate with engineering, data science, and other PMs to ensure our community feels safe and can easily report abuse.

Define goals and own performance against key business metrics for safety.

Evolve continuously to improve reporting of abuse and support for moderators.

Work directly with operations and engineering teams to drive efficiency.

Drive the roadmaps and execution end-to-end, authoring documentation and sharing insights.

Build alignment across the company on the team’s vision for investigation tooling.

Devise vision, strategy, and execution plan in collaboration with cross-functional partners.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to collaborate and build trust with engineers, designers, and data science teammates.

Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking.

Extremely proactive with the ability to implement complex projects.

Highly impact-focused, with a history of delivering results.

Outstanding communication skills, comfortable conveying complex topics.

Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and find solutions to complex problems.

Experience performing product-oriented quantitative analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of product management at a consumer or enterprise technology company.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building and shipping products at a consumer technology company.

Subject matter expertise in Trust & Safety, Integrity, Spam & Abuse.

Compensation:

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The base salary range is as follows:

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

$230,000-$335,000 annually.

Zone B:

$219,000-$318,000 annually.

Zone C:

$196,000-$285,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
