The Planning, Environmental and Development Services Department (PEDS) is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Manager, Fiscal & Operational Support Division.

This position supervises, plans, and directs the development services, fiscal operations, and County GIS activities, providing high-level professional support to ensure effective and efficient operations. Work is performed with independent judgment under the general supervision of the Department Director and is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports, and results achieved.

Representative Duties/Assignments

Directly responsible for personnel matters within the Division, including hiring, discipline, training and development, performance appraisals, and related activities.Support the Department Director with routine and unique departmental needs and initiatives.Responsible for Department budget administration including grants, CIP budgets, and expenditures.Direct the Concurrency Management Office and serve as the Concurrency Management Official.Oversee County GIS program and serve on the GIS Steering Committee.Coordinate development support services across the organization to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with rules and regulations.Keep in alignment with regulatory changes, construction trends and technologies, monitor/report on development activity trends, and make public presentations.Develop and implement operational improvements including technology-driven solutions where feasible.Oversee the department communication efforts (outreach, social media, PIO, newsletter).Perform other duties of a comparable level as assigned.

Minimum QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a related field and seven years of varied personnel administration experience including financial management, or closely related field, to include three years of supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of relevant education or experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

PreferencesExtensive experience in Finance/Financial Management and experience in land development processes and procedures.

Salary InformationPay Grade: 945 - From $115,398 to $150,030FLSA Status:
