Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process to implement effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies.Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) savings, payment terms, OTD (On Time Delivery), quality, lead time, budget target settings and follow up for continuous improvement.Define and establish local standard agreements with all major suppliers.Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines.Design and implement cost out programs and/or processes to reach annual savings and operational cost reduction targets.Qualifications for the Role
Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 9 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement/purchasing.Proficiency with software applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).Experience with SAP and Ariba SSS preferred.Strong data analytics with continuous improvement mindset.Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment.A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.Benefits
