Comprehensive Perinatal Support Program (CPSP) Manager

The Comprehensive Perinatal Support Program (CPSP) Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration, coordination, and evaluation of CPSP to ensure high-quality perinatal care for pregnant and postpartum women. This role involves managing a multidisciplinary team, maintaining a modest patient case load, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and implementing strategies to improve perinatal health outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

.25 FTE status will be spent providing direct, patient-facing CPSP services.

Program Management which includes oversight of the daily operations of CPSP, ensuring program goals and objectives are met.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.

Utilize data as a tool to monitor program performance, and drive improvements when necessary.

Supervise a multidisciplinary team which includes healthcare providers, social workers, and administrative staff.

Provide training, support and performance evaluations to ensure team members meet program standards and create a collaborative and positive work environment.

Ensure high-quality, client-centered perinatal care is delivered in accordance with CPSP guidelines.

Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively while promoting health education and resources to clients and their families.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to perinatal services and maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reviews.

Prepare and submit required reports, including program performance and financial reports.

Conduct outreach activities to promote the CPSP and increase program enrollment, and represent the program at community events and meetings.

Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Develop and manage the CPSP budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, and monitor expenditures and financial performance, providing regular reports to leadership.

Seek funding opportunities and manage grant applications to support program initiatives.

Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data and client feedback to identify and address areas for enhancement.

Coordinate with the quality improvement team to develop and implement action plans aimed at improving program services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree major in Public Health, Sociology, Public Policy OR minimum of five-year experience working in maternal health, women's health, comprehensive perinatal support program (CPSP), or other community health programs.

BLS Certification.

Previous supervisory or management experience required.

Experience with program development, implementation and evaluation.

Intimate knowledge of pregnancy, postpartum, referral to health resources in Sacramento County.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficient in data analysis, report writing, patient charting, and knowledgeable in CPSP guidelines and state/federal regulations.

TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES

Primarily office-based with occasional travel to community sites and partner organizations.

May require some evening and weekend work for community events or meetings.

Ability to work remotely as this is a hybrid position.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

Candidate has previous experience in advancing Women's Health in underserved communities.
