link.The purpose of the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) is to support the faculty and scholars (undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows/associates) of Rutgers – New Brunswick in advancing their preeminence in research and scholarship through fostering innovations, interdisciplinary collaboration, and community engaged scholarship. The OVPR serves as a strategic partner in New Brunswick advocating for resources, developing communication/opportunities, and supporting seed funding initiatives, to promote an inclusive culture for research and scholarship.Posting Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Academic Program Coordinator for the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR).Among the key duties of the position are the following:Facilitates NB strategic priorities as it pertains to faculty, students, and postdoctoral associates’ research, experiential learning, and professional advancement.Provides curriculum development, evaluation, administration, and coordination for the Platforms for Education Research Cores (PERCs), including but not limited to developing the application process, updating and maintaining instructional materials, developing workshops for experiential learning, and evaluation of PERCs.Enhances relationships within RU-NB and external partnerships in order to grow the PERCs network and expand the experiential learning opportunities for RU-NB and the tri-state area.Coordinates events for faculty, students, postdocs, staff, and industry partners to showcase the digital badging offerings.Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Two (2) years of relevant experience.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good communication skills.Computer literacy.Position Information
