what they say or do has a positive outcome on those around them.ROLE (High-level):Your ROLE (Logistics):Who Reports to You: Director of SchedulingWhere You Work: Washington, DCSalary Range: $120,000 - $130,000Your Role (Responsibilities):Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract, contract specifications and general industry standards.Review critical path, cost and resource loading, schedule content, use of relationships and lag, constraints, and milestones to validate acceptable of a proposed work plan.Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders and claims with the ability to develop a written detailed response recommending a time related settlement for use by the owner’s cost and contract entities.Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis and determine if workflows are consistent with actual and/or work projected to be performed.Track and be involved in project issues as they relate to project schedules showing the results in charts, tables and other graphic visualizations.Conduct construction/project site visits for progress reporting.Ability to read drawings and specifications, determine if work is in or out of scope and understand terms and conditions of the contract to determine compensability, as well as concurrent delays when determining the validity of a claim.Capable of performing regular project risk assessments to anticipate schedule impacts and advise the Project Team accordingly.Utilize project management software and tools effectively to manage schedules and update data in real time.Advance proficiency in specified software including, but not limited to, Primavera Scheduling Software, MS Office Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Review, evaluate, and reject or approve recovery schedules.Prepare reports as needed and directed by management.What We NEED You to Have:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Planning, Construction Management, or related field.8+ years’ experience in Construction Scheduling on heavy industrial projects, specializing in vertical structures and horizontal developments.Proficiency with Primavera (P6) as well as other CPM Scheduling Software.Excellent Delay analysis, TIA, and risk management experience.What We WANT You to Have:Water or Wastewater project experience.Project and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification.Unifier experience (document control software).What you get:Vacation and Sick Leave.Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance.McKissack & McKissack is an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
