Here, you will make an impact by:Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory.Developing, Implementing, and Executing effective territory business plans.Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management.Implementing promotions and directives as set by division management.Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M Divisions to meet customer needs.Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND five (5) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment.ORHigh School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND 10 years of experience years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment.Current, Valid Driver’s license is required, as you will be issued a company vehicle for this position.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:MBA is preferred.Sales experience in the Electrical Construction and Electrical Industrial Markets.Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications.Field/Channel sales experience.Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels.Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within their assigned territory.Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization.Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com.Work location:Remote based location within the assigned territory (Dallas, Fort Worth and East Texas TX)Travel:

May include up to 50% domestic travel within the assigned territory.Relocation Assistance:
