Territory Location: Colorado

Summit Sales & Marketing is currently seeking a qualified, independent outside sales representative to generate and grow market share for a suite of MasterBrand Cabinetry products. An existing dealer base, as well as an opportunity to prospect for expansion, exists within this territory that consists of parts of Colorado.

Not mandatory, but the ideal living location for this position is Colorado Springs.

Success in this position is earned by developing relationships with dealer partners through product training, helping them sell kitchens, and supporting them when issues arise. This is an independent contractor role and the individual selected will be a 1099 subcontractor and work as a commissioned Sales Representative. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter, quick learner with great organization skills and is passionate about sales development in a fast-paced environment.

Objectives of this Role

Maintain working relationships with existing dealers to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities

Generate leads, prospecting and relationship building in an effort to add new accounts to the existing portfolio of business

Planning and organizing a daily/monthly work schedule to call on existing dealers and prospects.

Weekly reporting of highlights, opportunities, challenges, and competitive intel is required

Pull through sales initiatives, which include identifying and prospecting builders, interior designers, and remodelers in an effort to bring them to dealers to facilitate incremental sales

Meet quarterly/annual sales targets through the successful implementation of programs and relationship skills with dealership sales/designers and ownership

Qualifications:

Strong self-starter with little effort given to accountability

An in-depth and comprehensive understanding of consultative selling and relationship building

Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills

Proven experience in problem solving, communication, and conflict resolution

Computer skills with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and 2020 software a plus

Dynamic presenter with the ability to facilitate group trainings for new products and material

Outside Sales experience of 2+ years.

Experience related to the kitchen and bath or construction industry is a plus

Must be willing to travel and may require overnight stays
