Senior Employee Relations Consultant based in our Perth CBD Office , where you'll provide high-level strategic guidance on complex employee and industrial relations issues. You'll develop and implement policies aligned with our HR and business strategies, contribute to organizational change initiatives, and ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation.Collaborating with your HR colleagues, you'll promote modern, positive employee relations, enhance performance, and foster industrial harmony within the workplace. Provide your expert ER/HR guidance to fuel continuous improvement and transformation efforts. Be a catalyst for positive change and deliver tangible results. Partner proactively with business customers in working towards effective solutions and providing guidance and advice on specific ER matters including performance management, redundancy, grievances, union disputes, working arrangements, EEO and operation of industrial instruments.Providing advice to stakeholders on obligations under industrial frameworks.Mentor and share your expertise with HR colleagues, particularly HR Business Partners, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Undertake, as required, employee relations development projects and activities that contribute to building a positive organisational environment.What Makes You a Great FitTertiary qualifications in HR/IR or related discipline and/orExtensive, broad and demonstrated industry knowledge and expertise of the current industrial landscape (industrial laws, dealings with unions).Strong negotiation, consultation and conflict management skills.Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate constructive behaviours.Extensive experience in employee relations and/or human resource management, including the negotiation and conflict resolution of significant matters.Proven ability to adjust work style to enable effective outcomes at all levels of the business.Experience working in large organisations within an ER role in an operational / union environment.Proven ability to liaise effectively and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, to facilitate their cooperation and support to achieve desired outcomes and to establish and maintain strong and productive working relationships.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
