Description
The parts room attendant is responsible for receiving and tracking MRO supplies within the RWPP facility. Ensure the correct material is received in the correct quantity and proper storage locations are recorded. Track and report errors, omissions, and damage of incoming freight. Perform cycle count and report errors of critical spares.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support the Maintenance and Operations teams in looking up and ordering partsReceives orders, tools, parts, and checks them into the system via procurement processStocks parts in proper locationsPerforms cycle counts, daily inventories and helps maintain parts location integrityKeeps up 5S program as documented for the parts roomOther duties as assignedBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50lbs throughout the day1-3 years of experience working at parts counter, storeroom, tool crib, or parts roomWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office productsBasic understanding of computersAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-taskDemonstrate commitment to ACR's core values.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous purchasing and inventory experience a plus.Familiarity with mechanical parts and materials a plus.Maintenance related experience a plus.Warehouse and/or stockroom experience a plus.CMMS- Computerized Maintenance Management System experience a plus
