The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare IT Services Division is currently seeking an outgoing, energetic, innovative professional to grow as theIT Training Associatewithin our ITSD Operations Documentation and Training Team for our downtownBoiselocation. We are seeking applicants that have a positive customer service attitude, enjoy helping others understand IT processes and applications, and thrive on learning new technology to show and mentor others how to use their newfound tools to their advantage. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. It is highly recommended to attach a one-page cover letter to your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements below. + Some knowledge of training methods.Typically gained by successful completion of coursework or workshops of 16 hours or more covering communication concepts, learning styles, course design, and presentation skills. It may also be demonstrated through experience presenting formal training sessions to groups. + Experience developing and making presentations before groups. Typically gained by completion of college level speech classes, toastmasters, Dale Carnegie courses, or three or more di?erent business related group presentations. + Experience drafting narrative reports. Typically gained by experience drafting narrative reports for college level coursework or a structured narrative writing requirement with three or more complex reports. Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants. + Experience learning to use newly released computer applications by self-led research or working with software developers and/or implementers. Typically gained by learning a minimum of two applications. + Experience writing IT 'How to' instructions for readers of various levels of IT experience.Typically gained by writing three or more 'How to' instructional documents. + Experience creating application training videos with video editing software such as Camtasia.Typically gained by creating three or more application demonstrations. + Experience using Webex Meeting or Training Center for presenting application based training for adult learners of varying IT experience.Typically gained by presenting a minimum of two different application trainings. + Experience working in an IT customer support position providing solutions to customer requests.Typically gained by one (1) year IT customer support.
