Join our team! Laredo Medical Center is now hiring a PRN House Supervisor RN for night Shift to work in our thriving department at LMC's 326 bed acute care hospital. The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio.
Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
The house supervisor supervises patient care provided by the nursing departments at a given time in accordance with physicians' orders and LMC polices and procedures. Acts as a liaison between nursing administration and the various nursing and ancillary departments of the Medical Center to ensure provision of high quality patient care. Ensures the LMC values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operations. The House Supervisor reports to the Supervisor of Nursing Services and CNO/ACNO. There are no subordinate positions who report directly to the Supervisor; however, other hospital personnel receive supervision and work direction from the Supervisor.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.Experience:

Five (5) years previous experience as an R.N. in the clinical field.Preferred:
Previous supervisory experienceLicenses / Certificates:
Required:
Current RN license for the State of Texas.Required:
Current CPR at hire, PALS and ACLS certification within 1 months of hire.
