Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities, which includes the following:
Perform bank reconciliationsPrepare and post required journal entriesReview & reconcile all balance sheet accountsPrepare summary of significant events and budget variances
Prepare supporting documentation for financial statements including balance sheet schedules and other reconciliationsWork closely with independent auditors during annual financial statement audit with preparing schedules and invoices, providing explanations of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data.Posting of accounts to the General Ledger for:
Accounts ReceivableCash ReceiptsAccounts PayableCash DisbursementsPayroll
Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material; update records as necessary.Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, schools, and others in a courteous and professional manner.Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.Provide support such as schedules, data, information, etc. for the annual budget process.Skills
Bank Reconciliations (2 years of experience is required)Journal Entries (2 years of experience is preferred)Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)General Ledger (2 years of experience is required)General Accounting and Finance Skills (2 years of experience is required)Qualifications
