The unit is capable of maintaining twenty-four hour cardiactelemetry monitoring. POPULATION(S) SERVED:•Newborn 0 - 1 month of age•Infant 1 month to 2 years of age•Child 2 to 12 years of age•Adolescent 12 to 21 years of ageX Young Adult 18 to 25 years of ageX Early Adult 25 to 40 years of ageX Middle Adult 40 to 60 years of ageX Later Adult 60 to 75 years of ageX Very Old Age 75 years of age and older SCOPE OF SERVICES: Care of medical surgical and surgical oncology. STAFFING GRID: The nurse manager and director are responsible for assuring appropriate staffing, working in conjunction with the House Supervisor and Charge Nurses. In the absence of the Director, the manager, unit supervisor or CN of the unit may make decisions regarding unit staffing.
