Overview:

Hospitality Division ControllerUtilize your accounting experience as necessary for the personal assets Fertitta Hospitality, and any other acquisitions. Hands on office lease accountant, ensure the office building tenants are billed and funds collected, and financial statements are prepared and reconciled on a monthly basis. Additionally, all intercompany accounts must be balanced and profit and loss and balance sheets rolled up into the parent company via Oracle in order to prepare bank compliance certifications. Create an annual lease budget and input it into the leasing / Oracle system. Prepare monthly cash forecasts, prepare debt payment wire requests. Work on the intercompany and roll ups for other TF entities as needed. Record and report on capital expenditures for any new projects.Responsibilities:Assist with bank compliance reporting.Knowledge of accounting principles, Lease accounting, Tax laws i.e. FASB standards, sales & use tax, W-9, 1099, revenue recognition, accruals, pre-paids.Working knowledge of classification of CAM Common Area Maintenance vs. owner operating expense and preparation for yearly CAM audit.Review the daily cash collected against what was billed in the leasing income journal.Review the accounts receivable (A/R) balances and assist with late payments collections from tenants.Record capital expenditures for any of the projects and distribute a report with budget to actual variance on a monthly basis.Review the coding of a/p invoices submit to a/p. Ensure the proper use tax is coded.Maintain a current listing of all contracts, permits, licenses, leases, and other legal or financial records.Ensure maintenance of accounting standards in accordance with established policies and procedures.Prepare and input the annual operating budgets into the appropriate system.Ensure the intercompany accounts are reconciled and include supporting documentation.Implement safety practices for employees.Assist in maintaining proper emergency safety and security procedures.Maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, demeanor, ethics,and image of self and associates.Qualifications:

Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger, financial statements, budgets, capital expenditures, lease accounting.Previous experience in lease accounting is helpful.Proficient in Word & Excel software.Flexible to work in varying schedules.Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
