About the RoleCPTE has an immediate opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site medical support during high school sporting events. In this role, you will be responsible for the health and safety of student-athletes, responding to injuries and medical emergencies during games and practices, in compliance with New Hampshire state law.Key responsibilities:Provide first aid, emergency care, and basic healthcare assessments to athletes during sporting events and practicesEvaluate injuries and determine if further medical attention is necessary, stabilizing injured athletes as needed until advanced care arrivesDocument injuries, treatments, and any incidents occurring during the events, ensuring accurate and timely reportsWork closely with coaches and healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive response plan for medical situationsEnsure all necessary medical equipment is available and properly maintained at sporting eventsEducate athletes and coaching staff about injury prevention and basic health protocols when appropriateAbout YouYou will be a great fit for this role if you have the following:Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New HampshireCurrent CPR/AED certificationAbility to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations, particularly in a sports or high-energy environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAvailability for evening and weekend shifts during games and practicesExperience in emergency or sports medicine settingsFamiliarity with injury treatment and prevention for athletesAbility to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary teamWhy CPTE?As part of CPTE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of high school athletes in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
