Job Overview:
As an Accounting Technician I (Accounts Payable) you will be responsible for receiving, scanning, verifying the accuracy of, distributing and processing invoices through the Oracle system, working in a high-volume environment. In this job you will capture and verify approximately 700 invoices per week. You will demonstrate your excellent customer service as the position will be responsible for communicating with various levels within the organization while operating in a fast-paced environment.Schedule:
44/36, Monday through Friday /Every other Friday off. Monday through Thursday 9 hours per day, 8 hours per day every other Friday. Start times are no earlier than 6 am and end times are no later than 6 pm.Hybrid:
Metropolitans current practice in this position is a hybrid work schedule. This typically includes two days a week in person and the other days remote. This is subject to change dependent on organizational needs. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and two years of relevant experience; completion of two years of full time accredited college work in accounting or related business field may be substituted for one year of related experience.
