SCOPE
VENU+ is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide key financial support and recommendations to a growth-oriented business. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with strong technical skills that can support the development of meaningful analysis, communicate analysis results to leadership, and drive process efficiency. Key responsibilities include preparing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc financials, sales and operating reports, analyzing financial and operational trends, measuring sales and customer performance, and preparing financial models. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and maintain financial budgets and forecasts (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)Prepare weekly cash forecasts and monthly capital expenditure forecastsDevelop, analyze, and communicate operating performance metricsCreate financial models to aid management in decision-makingReport on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviewsAnalyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvementsWork closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysisRecommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materialsIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboardsIncrease productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting toolsQUALIFICATIONS
2-4+ years of business or finance experience preferredBachelor's degree Accounting or Finance requiredExperience with Sage accounting systems preferredStrong analytical and data gathering skillsHigh proficiency with financial modeling and techniquesSelf-starter with strong problem-solving skillsStrong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPointExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to streamline functions with a passion to learn and grow
