Insight Global is seeking a Data Modeler to join one of our largest financial clients sitting local to Dallas, Texas. This candidate will be joining the Loans Engineering team which supports multiple lending businesses within this financial firm. As these businesses continue to expand, they require continuous investment which leads to the growth of this team. A key deliverable is to build an enterprise data model for loans so they need highly motivated individuals that have the technical ability to model the loans product in detail while also understanding the intricacies of loans business. To be successful in this role it is crucial to have a strong technical background and understanding of financial products, ideally loans. The team is onsite 4-5x a week in Dallas Texas.

Required Skills & Experience-5+ years of experience with logical data modeling, data analytics, and business intelligence-Ability to write and read code proficiently in java or python-Knowledge of financial products and markets-Experience working with SQL Database-Strong communication skills, with an ability to express relevant, technical concepts in a clear and concise manner-Familiarity with SCRUM or similar agile discipline

Nice to Have Skills & Experience-Experience working with Loans-Experience in financial modelling using CDM, FPML, Rosetta DSL-Experience in risk / regulatory data reporting-Experience with test-driven development and unit testing

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
