Clinical Assistant - COPC Sports, Spine & Joint

Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer or Clinical Assistant to join our COPC Sports, Spine & Joint office in Westerville, OH. This position plays a key role in patient care working with our providers in providing the best in patient care. Athletic Trainer, Medical Assistant, LPN, STNA, EMT, Phlebotomist or prior clinical training preferred. This is a full time position working Monday- Friday 8a-4:30p. Duties/Responsibilities:Escorting patients to exam rooms.Recording patient medical, social and family history.Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).Casting, taping and splinting.Drawing injections.Assisting with Home Exercise Programs.Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentGraduate from an accredited professional athletic training education programBasic knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems preferredMust have proficient computer skills
