In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools, and we work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.New Horizons is a nonprofit agency seeking a caring and professional Detox/Medical Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to fill a Part-time or PRN role.As a Detox APRN, you will provide services under the supervision of the physician, unless licensed as an Autonomous APRN. The APRN shall provide the initial medical health evaluations, on-going assessments, alteration of medication, detoxification, outreach/intervention assistance and emergency certificates (when appropriate) to individuals experiencing physical health problems, mental health problems and/or substance abuse problems. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) follows the written established protocols of NHTC.
